Our visit to Decorex 2014 in London’s Syon Park
Inspired, thoughtful designs were in evidence everywhere, made into lovely things to covet and buy using a mixture of traditional master craftsmanship (rug weaving, block printing) and cutting edge 3D technologies (custom mould making, affordable one-offs).
As ever, great design stands out, classics endure, and quality always shines through, as it does in these master works from Sanderson, Carlucci di Chivasso and Mini Moderns 🙂
Decor in the park
I’ve just emptied out my burgeoning tote bag after our annual visit to Decorex, one of the biggest events on the trade decorating calendar. West London’s Syon Park was the venue this year, with Syon House’s Georgian style inspiring the theme. The Georgians really embraced art, design and innovation, and I came back with a bagful of brilliant ideas.
