I’ve just visited the exciting Home Furnishing Expo in Shenzhen

Hello from China – nín hǎo 

We’ve been off on our travels again this time to China to visit the Home Furnishing Expo in Shenzhen. We had a fascinating time meeting different suppliers from around the world and catching up with old friends in the business. It’s a vast exhibition arena with hundreds of international exhibitors. It’s an exciting space for browsing and picking out new trends for the 2018/19 season and also seeing the influence British design has on the international design market.

We also experienced some amazing authentic food. My favourite had to be Lanzhou Lamian (Lanzhou Hand-pulled Noodles) Perfectly smooth, slurp-worthy rice noodles bathed in a broth with meat and sprinkled with freshly chopped parsley. A memorable trip to a truly captivating country.
