Pantone Colours of 2021 have been announced as Ultimate Grey + Illuminating Yellow. The Pantone Color institute describe this as ‘a marriage of colour conveying a message of strength and hopefulness that is both enduring and uplifting’. We are more than happy with both the sentiment and the colour pop!

We are all looking for some escapism and this colour trend allows us to immerse ourselves in transportive, deep colour: ultramarine, sea-foam green, seaweed shades and clearwater blues – we can almost smell the saltwater air.

Abstract faces and single line art influences have been emerging for a little while, but this year we are set to see them really take off in fashion and interiors. Can’t visit an art gallery? Bring the art to you.

If you could go anywhere, where would you go? As we long for tropical getaways, interiors inspired by distant shores offer a calm and relaxing living space to make a home a safe and inviting place to recharge.

Modern Rustic is having a moment right now. Earthy elements of the rustic style are combined with a clean-lined modern design for a fresh, light, and natural aesthetic. Design is simple but also warm, open and inviting. It’s country for cool people.

You only need to check out Pinterest and Instagram to see a houseplants trend in full bloom. From retro 1970s-style hanging basket creepers to big jungle ferns, plants bring vibrancy, colour and life to our homes whilst freshening the air, filtering out pollutants and releasing oxygen. We think that no room will be truly complete without at least one house plant this year.

Below: Children’s rooms – Fairytale and Adventure
Inspired by childhood memories of whimsical storybooks brought to life by captivating illustrations, children’s rooms will be bursting with wondrous creatures and scenes from faraway places.
We all love this last trend so much that we are off to create our own book-nook and find our inner-child….
