They have marked borders, defended countries and supported the world’s most impressive architectural structures, yet they rarely get the recognition they deserve. We decided to put the spotlight on the most iconic walls around the world, and visualise just how huge some of them are. For example, if The Great Wall of China was turned up on its end, it would reach Global Positioning Satellites, and Hardian’s wall is the equivalent of 15 Mt. Everests!
