How to make pinwheels with left over wallpaper

Summer breeze

Wimbledon withers in record temperatures, the radio is full of expert advice on how to sleep in the merciless night heat, and our dog has swapped his spot in the sun for the shade. Here comes another remarkably Summery British Summer. As usual, wallpaperdirect is here to help with a seasonally topical indoor activity that will give you a break from slapping on the factor fifty and will give you and your little ones something Summery to make inside and enjoy outside. In keeping with our Summer Sale theme this year, we’re going to show you how to turn leftover wallpaper into pretty pinwheels that will spin on a lovely Summer Breeze. Here’s one we made earlier in about 5 minutes, using the lovely Folksy by Layla Faye. How to make your own wallpaper pinwheels You’ll need: – some leftover wallpaper – some scissors – a map pin – a stick (we used 8mm dowelling, so they tell me!) Print out the diagram below and follow the instructions. It’s a breeze! pinwheel.jpg Don’t forget to send us a picture or a video when you’ve finished!
